the effect on her breast is so awsome ^^. like burnt metall. i once drove by a road sign in an area where there has been a forest fire some days bevore. that sign looked the same like that effect :D. how did you create it? did you put your painting into a forest fire :XD:?

oh, and that's oil paints, too, liberal with the turp so it bleeds :)

Thank you, Mo - that wasn't so difficult to do :D If I remember correctly, it's linseed oil and . . . Liquin ? (but certainly linseed oil, it gives that aged yellow hue). You let it set up flat for maybe a few minutes, then put it back on the easel, and flick turpentine on it lightly from a regular smallish hardware store brush. Or any kind of brush really, just shake out the excess turp before you flick it on the canvas :) There's a LOT of medium on this so, yeah - I'd want to keep it away from forest fires :iconexplosionplz:
